National auto transport firms and professionals that implement Michelin Americas Truck Tires in their fleet operations will be happy to hear that Michelin was recently honored by the American Trucking Associations (ATA) with the 2010 Mike Russell “Good stuff” trucking image award as the truck tire manufacturing industry winner. The 2010 Mike Russell “Good stuff” trucking image award is awarded to those that have been active in creating a positive attitude in the United States and the world toward transport professionals. Michelin was presented with the 2010 Mike Russell “Good stuff” trucking image award during the annual American Trucking Association Management Conference and Exhibition, last week in Phoenix, Arizona.
Michelin officials on hand made a nice speech thanking the American Trucking Association for presenting them with the 2010 Mike Russell “Good stuff” trucking image award. Michelin has been involved in the work of promoting the vehicle shipping industry through industry partnerships in programs like the ATA's Share the Road program, by showing leadership in their work with the Tire Retread and Information Bureau, and products like the XZA3 Antisplash steer tire and X One wide single drive and trailer tires. All great work that has certainly improved the overall image of the transport industry of the United States of America and the world, and certainly deserving of the 2010 Mike Russell “Good stuff” trucking image award.
The 2010 Mike Russell “Good stuff” trucking image award is given in honor of the late Mike Russell, a car hauling industry supporter and media official who helped develop the "Good stuff. Trucks Bring It." campaign as vice president of Public Affairs for the American Trucking Association.
