Car Shipping Drivers Opinion Requested

Are you an enclosed auto transport driver operating on the roads and highways of North America on a daily basis? The Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association is interested in your opinion on something that will definitely interest you. They are conducting a survey to find out your feelings about cross-border transport between Canada and the United States, and if you are truly interested in the job, or would rather stay within the borders of America, if possible. They want to find out how your business operations are being affected by things like the changes in regulations, fees, credential requirements, wheelbase restrictions, and all the things on your mind.

This news probably isn't a surprise to many auto shipping professionals doing business in North America that travel back and forth across the border between the United States and Canada on a regular basis. According to many transport drivers things have been getting more and more complicated for drivers trying to cross into Canada during the last few years, and some drivers might be trying to see if they can avoid crossing the border into Canada, if at all possible. The changes could in fact be discouraging some transport drivers from crossing the border between Canada and the United States, especially if this decision makes doing business easier to conduct in the months and years ahead in North America.

Car transport companies doing business in North America that want to check out this survey and possible take part, should contact the Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association, or check out their website for more information.

  1. Hey – great blog, just looking around some blogs, seems a really nice platform you are using. I’m currently using WordPress for a few of my blogs but looking to change one of them over to a platform similar to yours as a trial run. Anything in particular you would recommend about it? car shipping
