Apparently, these five awards recognize Paccar suppliers with a defect rate of 50 parts per million or less during the 2009 calendar year. The five ArvinMeritor facilities that were given these awards are the Forest City, N.C.; Franklin, Kentucky; Cienega de Flores, Mexico; Escobedo, Mexico;and Lindesberg, Sweden manufacturing facilities.

This is a real feather in the hat for ArvinMeritor and should give American car transporters driving Peterbilt and Kenworth transports implementing ArvinMeritor parts confidence that their transport has some of the best designed and manufactured parts for large transports in the world. It should also give customers confidence that the heavy-duty car hauling transports implemented by the car movers they hire are safe and efficient transports designed to get their car to destination in an efficient and reliable manner.
