Transport drivers and car transport companies in the business of making sure the vehicles are delivered on time and budget will be interested in the latest news concerning this year's recipient of the Joseph M. Magliochetti Industry Champion Award. The Motor & Equipment Manufacturers association has awarded Senator Debbie Stabenow (Michigan) and Representative Geoff Davis (Kentucky) this year's award for outstanding leadership on behalf of motor vehicle parts manufacturers. The Joseph M. Magliochetti Industry Champion Award is given each year in the memory of Joseph M. Magliochetti, a former MEMA chairman and CEO of Dana Corporation.
Senator Stabenow and Representative Geoff Davis will be given the award during the MEMA Legislative Summit, on March 2-3. They're also aware of the significance of parts suppliers to the economies of their communities and the United States of America, according to many transport firms in the business of controlling car shipping prices watching this affair, and are expected to probably play a key role in the future of the transport industry of America during the miles ahead.
In particular transport experts point to the work Stabenow has done in leading the work on the Advanced Vehicle Technology Act in the Senate. They also point to her work in addressing the changes needed in Section 136 of the loan program and making it more accessible to suppliers and even extending this program to technology needed for both medium and heavy-duty transport vehicles used to ship cars in the United States of America. In addition, they point to her leadership on the Commercial Motor Vehicle Advanced Safety Technology Act and other work.
